As a Junior Mechanic Operator, your role will involve assisting in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. You will work closely with senior mechanics and supervisors to ensure the smooth functioning of production equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in operating and maintaining mechanical machinery and production equipment. - Performing routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspections. - Supporting senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues. - Monitoring machine performance and reporting irregularities to supervisors. - Maintaining tools and workshop equipment in clean and working order. - Following all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Documenting maintenance activities and completing assigned work orders. - Learning and applying standard operating procedures (SOPs) and mechanical processes. To qualify for this role, you should have: - High School Diploma/ITI/Technical Certificate in Mechanical or related field. - 02 years of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or maintenance environment (freshers can apply). - Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment. - Ability to read and understand mechanical diagrams or manuals (a plus). - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Physical fitness to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. - Willingness to work in shifts or overtime, if required. Preferred skills include basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or machine operations, familiarity with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures, good communication skills, and a team player attitude.
