Job Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Diary Cold Storage)

Summary of the role:

Purpose: Responsible for the care, maintenance, and operation of company sales assets (e.g., refrigerators, deep freezers, and equipment) in stock or at retailer stores.

Key Duties:

• Maintain, service, and repair sales assets to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair per manufacturer’s specs.
• Perform monthly inspections at retailer stores.
• Maintain repair/maintenance records and inventory.
• Review/update warranty & AMC details.
• Inspect van sales trucks and depot cold stores when required.
• Contacts: Works internally with CEO, Chiefs, HODs; externally with vendors, suppliers, and media agencies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma (technical training preferred).
• Certification in refrigeration/deep freezer repair (must).
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years in sales asset maintenance (FMCG/Dairy preferred).
• Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical/electrical systems, and repair tools.
• Skills: troubleshooting, independent judgment, accuracy, cultural adaptability, integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹68,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
