Mechanical Fitter

As a Mechanical Fitter, your role will involve planning, scheduling, and organizing your own work while coordinating with other parties when necessary. Your key responsibilities will include: - Completing tasks based on priority - Ensuring that assigned trades work is done safely and meets quality requirements, company policies, and statutory regulations - Initiating and completing Work Orders, ensuring timely sign off and providing relevant feedback information and reports - Developing and maintaining positive work relationships within the team - Contributing ideas for continuous improvement and assisting in the development of job procedures - Supervising apprentices when required In terms of qualifications and experience, you should have: - Basic Qualifications: ITI in Fitter, ITI in Welder, Diploma in Mechanical - Experience: 0-2 years Additionally, you should possess the following interpersonal skills: - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong time management skills - Ability to demonstrate initiative and motivation - Capability to work effectively within a team and independently This is a full-time position and the preferred education is a Diploma. Having a total work experience of 1 year is preferred, and holding an ITI (Fitter) certification would be an added advantage.,
