Mechanical Engineer Production & Maintenance

As a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of factory experience, particularly in the copper or metals industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production operations, machine maintenance, manpower planning, and technical supervision to ensure efficient manufacturing processes at our facility in Jalan Industrial Complex, Howrah. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily copper production activities to meet production targets, managing preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, planning and allocating manpower based on production schedules, troubleshooting technical issues on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining production, maintenance, and equipment records. Additionally, you will support process optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance and training to operators and maintenance staff. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, possess a minimum of 5 years of factory experience (preferably in the copper or metals industry), demonstrate strong knowledge of production supervision, machine maintenance, and manpower handling, exhibit excellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills, and have experience with manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards.
