Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Structural Steel Fabrication

Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat

Experience Required : Minimum 5 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in structural steel fabrication to join our team in Jamnagar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AutoCAD Mechanical, fabrication drawings, and project execution for structural fabrication works.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee structural steel fabrication activities from design to completion.
Ensure fabrication meets quality standards, project specifications, and timelines.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams for smooth project execution.
Supervise fabrication processes, welding, cutting, assembly, and finishing works.
Perform material estimation, cutting plans, and fabrication schedules.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection.
Maintain records of fabrication progress, material usage, and quality reports.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
Proficient in AutoCAD Mechanical and other relevant design tools.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and structural design.
Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
