Mechanical Engineer

As a Technical Drafter, you will be responsible for creating precise and accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and design specifications. Your role will involve reviewing and interpreting architectural and engineering documents to ensure designs are accurate and compliant with relevant codes and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing drawing files, managing project documentation, and incorporating feedback into existing drawings. Quality assurance checks to verify dimensional accuracy will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide support to production teams during the fabrication or construction process and stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software updates and industry best practices. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D modeling, strong technical drawing skills, and the ability to solve design issues and adapt to changing requirements. Attention to detail and a meticulous approach are essential to ensure accuracy and precision in your drawings.
