Mechanical Draughtsman

As a Mechanical Draftsman in the Design Department, your role involves creating technical schematic drawings, general arrangement layouts, manufacturing drawings, and 3D models of mechanical equipment. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details, and recommend modifications as necessary. Your communication skills will be essential in coordinating with manufacturing personnel to ensure detailed drawings are produced prior to production. Additionally, you will support the engineering team by creating technical drawings and 3D models within deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create technical schematic drawings, general arrangement layouts, and manufacturing drawings based on specifications and data from the engineering team. - Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and recommend design modifications. - Communicate with manufacturing personnel to produce detailed drawings for production. - Provide support to the engineering team by creating technical drawings and 3D models within specified deadlines. - Assist in standardizing design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials. - Prepare a list of deliverable items and equipment, including size and weight details, to support the dispatch department. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Certification in 3D Software such as Solid Works. - 4-5 years of experience in a similar role within a mechanical manufacturing company. - Proficiency in Solid Works, AutoCAD, and MS Office. - Excellent technical communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities. - Ability to work within strict deadlines.
