As a Mechanical Draftsman at our company, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Creo software. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with design engineers to translate project requirements into technical drawings, modifying designs to address engineering challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Additionally, you will assist in creating bill of materials (BOM) and participate in design reviews to provide technical insights and improvements. Your role will also involve working closely with the production team to resolve any discrepancies related to drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Creo software - Collaborate with design engineers to interpret project requirements - Modify and revise designs to address engineering challenges - Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements - Assist in creating bill of materials (BOM) and maintain drawing records - Participate in design reviews and provide technical insights - Resolve discrepancies related to drawings with the production team Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Experience: 12 years in a similar role with a focus on mechanical drafting - Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Creo, familiarity with other CAD tools is a plus - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes - Soft Skills: Attention to detail, accuracy in drawings, communication skills, teamwork, ability to work under tight deadlines In addition to the above details, the preferred attributes for this role include experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
