Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

• End-to-end design and development of sheet metal and structural components

• Proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drawing creation

• Solid grasp of machine design, structural analysis, GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes

• Working knowledge of ECR, ECO, BOM, SAP/ERP, JDE, and engineering documentation workflows

• Strong command of engineering drawings and standards, with the ability to deliver first-pass yield and meet on-time delivery (OTD) targets

• Capable of performing basic hand calculations and assessing design feasibility

• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design principles

• Work with Professional services and technical teams in a cross-functional environment, to develop high-quality products that meet business goals.

• Ability to travel, typically not to exceed 30%, for the benefit of the business.
