CST 2017 JD Ver 2.0 Job Description **mandatory SNRequired InformationDetails 1Role**Mechanical Design Engineer - Automotive2Required Technical Skill Set**Vehicle Interior/Exterior trims design and development, packaging, Homologation and Regulation studies, Bench marking, GD&T, DFA, DFS, Catia V63No of Requirements** 14Desired Experience Range**8 Years5Location of Requirement Bangalore/Chennai Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have** (Ideally should not be more than 3-5) Vehicle Interior/Exterior trims design and development, packaging, Homologation and Regulation studies, Bench marking, GD&T, DFA, DFS, Catia V6 Good-to-Have Knowledge on Vehicle regulatory and validation requirements, GD & T and Tolerance stack up experience SNResponsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Create parametric CAD models and GD&T documentation from scratch using CATIA V6, including surface design tools (GSD), incorporating design intent and engineering information. 2 Package, design and detail components, assemblies and drawings for a variety of vehicle systems 3 Shall work independently, with little guidance on sub system level as well as vehicle level integration activities 4 Maintain CAD hygiene and revision control for all components, sub-systems and systems with in area of responsibility. 5 Ensure that CAD geometry and associated drawings or documentation are ready to release into ENOVIA PLM system to support vehicle build timelines. 6 Strong verbal and written communication skills 7 Good interpersonal skills.
