KRAs

1. Prepare detailed 2D/3D design and fabrication drawings for AHUs, ductwork, and HVAC components.

2. Develop GA (General Arrangement) drawings, section views, detailed parts, and assembly drawings of air handling systems.

3. Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.

4. Modify existing designs to meet customer-specific requirements or project changes.

5. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and company protocols.

6. Maintain and organize all CAD files and documentation in a structured manner.

7. Coordinate with production teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.

8. Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, or commissioning stages.

9. Work with BOM (Bill of Materials) and ERP systems for part number generation and material tracking.

Key Skills/Abilities

1. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D preferred).

2. Familiarity with SolidWorks, Revit MEP, or Inventor is a plus.

3. Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, especially AHUs (coils, fans, dampers, filters, etc.).

4. Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and material selection.

5. Good communication and teamwork skills.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experienced Required

1-6 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/design in the HVAC or AHU industry.

Hands-on experience in designing custom AHU units, ducting, and HVAC layouts

Qualification : Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
