Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman & Designer

Job Responsibilities: Prepare 2D fabrication drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD. Understand and interpret mechanical components, assemblies, and metal structures. Develop drawings based on customer specifications and engineering standards. Modify and revise designs to meet customer requirements or production needs. Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions. Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D (mandatory). Good understanding of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes. Experience in preparing detailed fabrication drawings for sheet metal, structural metal, and welded components. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, welding symbols, and material specifications. Basic knowledge of other CAD tools (like SolidWorks) will be an added advantage. Educational Qualification: ITI – Mechanical Draftsman Diploma in Mechanical Engineering BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering Preferred Candidate: Immediate joiners will be given preference.
