Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assistant: Assisting with repairs: Helping mechanics with installations, maintenance, and repairs of vehicles and machinery. Maintaining the workspace:Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe, ensuring tools and equipment are readily accessible. Providing support during repairs: Holding materials, tools, or equipment for mechanics to streamline the repair process. Assisting with troubleshooting: Gathering information and helping with diagnostics under the guidance of experienced mechanics. Performing basic maintenance tasks: Such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks. Interacting with customers: Providing updates on service progress and clarifying customer needs (in some roles).
