Measurement Engineer Civil Doors and Frames

As a Measurement Engineer (Civil) specializing in Doors & Frames, your primary responsibility will be to conduct precise measurements of door openings and door frame openings at project sites. You will be required to inspect and document site wall alignment and running wall details to ensure accurate installation. Additionally, you will need to measure and validate carpentry requirements like door hinges, fasteners, locks, and other fitting points. Your role will involve preparing detailed measurement sheets for the fabrication and installation teams, ensuring correct unit conversions between inches, feet, and millimeters, and verifying measurements both pre and post-installation. Collaboration with site engineers, carpenters, and project managers will be essential to address any discrepancies that may arise during the measurement process. You will also be responsible for maintaining well-organized documentation of all site visits and measurements. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in site measurement for doors, frames, or faade components will be advantageous. Proficiency in working with surveying tools such as laser measures, levels, and measuring tapes is required. A strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications, along with excellent communication and coordination skills with on-site teams, will be crucial. The ability to work independently and willingness to travel to multiple project locations are also essential for this position.
