Essential Experience and Job Requirements: • 15+ years of experience in data-related disciplines such as MDM, data governance, data quality, and data cleansing. • Expert knowledge of data mastering concepts, process ownership, data policies, and controls. • Proven experience implementing MDM processes, policies, and procedures in complex, multinational organizations. • Deep knowledge of SAP MDG, ERP, and associated data structures. • Experience driving large, multi-year transformational change across multiple geographies and data domains. • Strong leadership qualities to steer the team and provide strategic direction. • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and secure sponsorship for the data transformation agenda. Excellent soft skills: active listening, communication, collaboration, presentation, problem-solving, team management, and stakeholder management. • Project management skills and domain knowledge in Procurement, Finance, Customer, business acumen, critical thinking, and storytelling. • • Up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data management and analytics. Role Objectives: • Document the data strategy for finance. • Convert the existing strawman into a formal strategy document. • Identify a highly experienced and capable resource to join the team. • Define the future direction for finance data and its impact on the organization. • Detail the organizational structure and its interaction with other units. • Define data quality measures and data structures. • Develop data models and explain their usage. • Explain the role of AI/ML and analytics in data management. • Create a detailed implementation roadmap. • Participate in and drive conversations with VPs and AVPs to socialize the data strategy. Ensure candidates have 12+ years of experience across data disciplines such as asset management, MDM, data quality, and analytics. • • Prefer candidates with experience in writing data strategies. • Require excellent conversation and communication skills. • Candidates must be highly knowledgeable in data strategy and finance EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS Client is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Strategy Lead to drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive finance master data strategy. This role will play a crucial part in transforming our data management practices, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data processes across the organization.
