Key Responsibilities: Study and analyze project BOQs, tender documents, single line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical specifications. Prepare detailed cost estimates for LT panels like PCC, MCC, AMF, APFC, DBs, and control panels. Select appropriate components (MCCBs, MCBs, ACBs, busbars, relays, meters, etc.) from reputed brands (Siemens, Schneider, L&T, ABB, etc.). Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and estimate cost of raw materials, wiring, fabrication, and labor. Take quotations from suppliers and incorporate the best pricing into the costing sheet. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and sales teams to finalize offers. Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals within deadlines. Maintain historical cost data and update component pricing periodically. Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Attend technical discussions and pre-bid meetings, if required. Requirements: Education: Diploma or B.E./Btech in Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 1 years in estimation or design of LT panels. Strong knowledge of switchgear and electrical standards (IS/IEC). Ability to interpret electrical drawings (SLD, GA, wiring). Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems or panel design software is a plus. Knowledge of market pricing for standard LV components. Good communication and documentation skills.

Experience: Minimum 03 to 05 years’ experience in relevant field. Expected Job Role: Engineering Design of Switchboards, Power Distribution Boards, Electrical Starters & Controls and Power Management System. Calculation of Copper Bus bar, Heat Loads, Power dissipation, fault ratings. Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans, Internal Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Procedures, Type Test Plans as per order specifications and getting customer approvals Release of finalised design documents for manufacturing / production. Co-ordination with Production/ Purchase to resolve technical issues related to assigned project. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical schematics, general arrangement (GA) drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical. Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), internal wiring diagrams, and external wiring details for control panels. Select appropriate electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, relays, contactors, PLCs, terminal blocks, power supplies, etc., based on load and functional requirements. Create complete technical documentation including: a. Bill of Materials (BOM) b. Terminal and cable schedules c. Wiring plans d. Component layout drawings Ensure designs adhere to IS/IEC standards and meet project or customer specifications. Interpret client-provided IO lists, SLDs, and technical specifications to prepare accurate drawings. Collaborate with the production, procurement, and project teams to ensure proper execution and assembly of panels. Revise and update drawings based on design feedback or client revisions, maintaining version control. Support in preparing drawings for electrical panels used in automation systems, MCC panels, control desks, and PLC panels. Skills & Competencies: Strong command of AutoCAD Electrical and standard drafting practices. Good understanding of electrical symbols, control wiring standards, and component layout planning. Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, panel interlock circuits, and safety loops. Basic knowledge of PLC I/O mapping, control logic circuits, and instrumentation panel design is an added advantage. Capable of optimizing space management within panels and ensuring ease of wiring and maintenance. Familiarity with electrical load calculations and component selection for LT control panels. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Team player with effective communication and coordination abilities. Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
