Maths Teacher

As an experienced and qualified Cambridge Math Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students following the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum. Your key responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality math lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels. It will be essential to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles. Additionally, you will be required to set and mark assessments, exams, and coursework while providing constructive feedback to students on their progress. In this role, you will also provide individual support to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and achieving their academic goals. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and guardians will be necessary to ensure that students receive consistent support and guidance. It will be important to stay updated on developments in mathematics education and the Cambridge CIE curriculum by attending relevant training and conferences for your professional development. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL) or its equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics, preferably with the Cambridge CIE curriculum, is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as well as a valid teaching certification or license. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Mathematics or Education, familiarity with the Cambridge CIE curriculum and assessment methods, and experience teaching in an international school setting.
