Job Summary

The Maths Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematics concepts clearly and effectively to students. The role includes planning lessons, conducting assessments, supporting diverse learners, and ensuring students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics as per the school curriculum for the assigned grades.
• Prepare structured and engaging lesson plans for topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics (depending on grade level).
• Explain concepts using examples, visual aids, and real-life applications to enhance understanding.
• Conduct class tests, exams, and assessments regularly.
• Assign and evaluate homework, projects, and worksheets.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students who need additional help.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers for academic planning and school activities.
• Prepare students for competitive exams or math-related competitions (optional).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics / Education (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Maths, B.Ed preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for different learning levels.
• Familiarity with teaching aids and digital learning tools.

Work Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (as per institution requirement).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
