Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the ICSE curriculum. The teacher will foster conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills while maintaining an engaging and supportive classroom environment for school students.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons strictly aligned with the ICSE Mathematics syllabus.

· Use a variety of teaching methods, including activity-based learning, real-life applications, and problem-solving strategies.

· Prepare students for ICSE board examinations, ensuring coverage of all prescribed learning outcomes.

· Design and administer class tests, unit tests, assignments, and model exams as per school and ICSE board guidelines.

· Evaluate student work promptly and provide constructive feedback.

· Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.

Professional Responsibilities

· Participate in professional development programmes.

· Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum planning.

· Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance.

· Contribute to school events and co-curricular activities (competitions, Olympiads, etc.).

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Higher.

· B.Ed.

· Strong knowledge of the ICSE syllabus and teaching methodologies.

· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

· Experience in teaching Mathematics at the ICSE level.

· Ability to train students for competitions, Olympiads, or board exam excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
