Job Title: OT Nurse – Maternity (Labour & Delivery)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated OT Nurse with maternity experience to support our Obstetrics & Gynaecology department. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a maternity nursing home and should be proficient in conducting normal deliveries, assisting in caesarean sections, and performing per vaginal (PV) examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct and assist in normal vaginal deliveries.
• Assist gynecologists and obstetricians during caesarean sections and other maternity-related surgeries.
• Perform and document PV examinations accurately and with patient comfort in mind.
• Prepare and maintain OT setup before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Monitor and manage labor progress and report any complications to the medical team.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to maternity patients.
• Maintain accurate medical and procedural records.
• Coordinate with doctors, anaesthetists, and pediatricians during deliveries and surgeries.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM (with relevant maternity OT experience)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a maternity nursing home or hospital labor room
• Strong knowledge of labor management, delivery techniques, and maternal care
• Hands-on experience in PV examination and recognizing obstetric complications
• Excellent patient care, observation, and communication skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
