Materials In-Charge

As a Material Manager, you will be responsible for managing the receiving, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials to ensure accurate billing of finished goods. Your role will involve verifying the quantity and quality of incoming materials against orders and storing them safely for easy access. Your key responsibilities will include: - Issuing materials as per production requirements and maintaining issuance records - Maintaining accurate stock records and conducting regular stock checks - Preparing reports on stock levels, shortages, and damages - Ensuring accurate and timely billing aligned with production and pricing - Keeping storage areas clean and safe as per company standards - Working closely with production, sales, and accounts for workflow continuity - Ensuring availability of required raw materials for manufacturers as per production plans - Monitoring material usage to prevent loss or wastage of components In addition, candidates for this role should have skills in optimizing inventory maintenance and management, as well as knowledge of Tally. Experience in the footwear industry is preferred. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and the opportunity for a yearly bonus. The work location is in Kozhikode, Kerala, and you should be willing to reliably commute or relocate with an employer-provided relocation package if required.
