Job Description

The person shall act as an interface between supplier & project site. He will coordinate and implement material quality at supplier premises and ensure defect free material reaches at site Review and approval of MQP (Material Quality Plan) in accordance with IS & GTP (Guaranteed Technical Particular) for transmission line and substation equipment. i.e., Tower, Insulator, Fasteners, Hardware fittings, Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Isolator, Surge Arresters, HT & LT Cables, CT, CVT, Power Conductors, GI Structures etc. Raw material source approval & incoming material inspection, verification of material purchase. Verification of stage inspection and FAT reports and issuance of Material Release Certificate for every item. Preparation of Inspection Test Plan and Method of Statement, maintaining quality documentation such as quality procedures of inspection call, TPI inspection, new vendor approval & NCR procedure.
