Material Planner

Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Kolkata were looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your logistics and supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely availability of materials that drive our production excellence. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (including procurement, production, and warehouse teams), analyze material demands, optimize inventory levels, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of planning materials to meet production delivery dates, but also manage logistics parameters and data accuracy in ERP systems. We’ll look to you for: Planning materials over time to meet delivery dates for production orders Controlling logistics parameters in ERP systems and maintaining data accuracy Creating material requisitions with proper timing, quantity, and lead times Optimizing order quantities, re-order points, and safety stock levels Re-evaluating minimum order quantities to balance supply chain stress and inventory costs Resolving missing parts in production and addressing blocked stock due to non-conformities Analyzing material demands using Spare Parts Management Studio (SPMS) and identifying material strategies Periodically reporting KPIs and implementing actions to improve delivery performance Ensuring stock accuracy by coordinating with stock and warehouse managers Engaging in regular customer meetings to review performance and implement improvement plans Initiating repairs, production orders, and purchase requisitions as needed All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
