Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Evaluate and validate supplier-submitted IMDS data for accuracy and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure submission of correct and complete Material Data Sheets (MDS) in IMDS.
Support and guide suppliers and internal teams on IMDS submission requirements and best practices.
Submit IMDS data globally to OEMs for Aftermarket and Production parts.
Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and create compliant Material Datasheets based on the components used.
Review and decide on the acceptance or rejection of supplier MDS based on data quality, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Manage the IMDS workflow, ensuring timely submissions and responses.
Conduct internal and supplier training on IMDS processes, regulatory updates, and compliance requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant material compliance regulations such as:

ELV (End-of-Life Vehicles) Directive
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
GADSL (Global Automotive Declarable Substance List)
