Job Summary:The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve stress, manage pain, and support overall wellness. The therapist tailors each session based on client needs and medical history, ensuring a safe and effective experience. Key Responsibilities:Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and trigger point, based on client needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and symptoms to recommend appropriate massage therapy techniques. Create personalized treatment plans and maintain accurate client records. Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for clients. Educate clients on post-treatment care and self-care techniques. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques. Manage appointment schedules and maintain punctuality. Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals. Collaborate with other health professionals when needed to support holistic care. Required Skills and Qualifications:Certification or diploma from an accredited massage therapy program. Valid massage therapy license (as required by local/state regulations).
