MASS Quantitative Analyst Investment Management

Role Overview: You will be joining VOYA INDIA as a Quantitative Programmer Analyst for MASS (Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions) team, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining daily and monthly processes using a combination of R scripts, Excel macros, and database loads. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, updating procedural documentation, contributing to the development of Python and R scripts, libraries, and dashboards, supporting solution building, project planning, and execution for custom investment reports. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain daily and monthly processes using R scripts, Excel macros, and database loads - Troubleshoot and resolve a diverse range of potential exceptions - Update procedural documentation related to processes - Contribute to the development of Python and R scripts, libraries, and dashboards for portfolio analytics and reporting - Support solution building, project planning, and execution for custom investment reports Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree in computer science, accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, business administration, or equivalent work experience - 3 to 5 years of investment industry experience with basic understanding of investment vehicles such as Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives, Equities, and Senior Loans - Significant experience in R or Python for data science, preferably both - Working knowledge of SQL - Familiarity with Plotly Dash and PySpark libraries, Excel VBA, and WebFOCUS is a plus - Experience with automation, optimization, and monitoring of investment data and reporting processes - Strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms (e.g., MS Office, Excel, Word, Windows) and other PC-based software - Familiarity with platforms and systems like Databricks, Morningstar Direct, SQL Server, and WebFOCUS - Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills - Ability to work in a challenging environment with varying workloads and strict deadlines - Ability to resolve problems independently and creatively - Maintain strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, project leaders, and clients - Excellent verbal and writing skills for effective team interaction - Flexibility to work in shifts (Note: Company details were not mentioned in the provided job description),
