Reports To: Export Manager / Head of International Business Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Export Executive is responsible for managing all export-related activities, including documentation, logistics coordination, compliance with international trade laws, and communication with overseas clients. This role ensures timely and accurate shipment of goods while maintaining regulatory compliance and excellent customer service. Basic knowledge of computers (MS Office, Email) and basic English communication skills (written & verbal) are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Export Documentation:
• Prepare pre-shipment and post-shipment export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.).
• Ensure all documents are compliant with export regulations and client requirements.
• Shipment & Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), shipping lines, and transporters.
• Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery to overseas clients.
• Track cargo movement and handle any delays or issues proactively.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade), customs regulations, and EXIM policies.
• File for export incentives like MEIS, RODTEP, Duty Drawback, etc.
• Maintain proper records of licenses and regulatory documents.
• Client Communication:
• Communicate with international clients regarding order confirmations, shipping schedules, and documentation.
• Provide regular shipment updates and resolve customer queries.
• Coordinate with the sales and production teams for timely dispatch.
• Reporting & MIS:
• Maintain export records and databases.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly export reports for management review.
• Analyze shipping costs, performance metrics, and suggest improvements.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of export documentation and procedures
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and international trade terms
• Understanding of L/C, customs clearance, and freight forwarding
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), email communication, and ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of English (reading, writing, speaking)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, or a related field
• PG Diploma or MBA in International Business (preferred)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in export operations (Freshers may be considered for junior roles)

Marketing & Purchase Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors for purchase of materials/products
• Maintain purchase records and update inventory
• Assist in marketing activities including client follow-ups, email campaigns
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate rates
• Support internal team with data entry and marketing operation
