Marketing Manager

A passionate and results-oriented marketing professional with 4-6 years of experience in the lifestyle, beauty or wellness industry. You have a proven track record in managing key marketing channels, including social media, performance marketing, website, and WhatsApp. You are a skilled strategist with a deep understanding of marketing strategies and tactics.

This is a key role in our salon business, and it demands a heavily autonomous style of working. You are self-driven and hardworking, comfortable owning outcomes end to end, and you don't wait to be told what needs doing. You are an excellent communicator and collaborator who enjoys working with a lot of people franchise partners, store managers, ops teams, call centre, performance marketing — and can hold multiple stakeholders together toward a single plan.

Role and responsibilities

Strategy and planning

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans — strategic and tactical — to increase footfall and enhance brand visibility.

• Own Go-To-Market strategy and execution as we open stores in new markets.

• Create and implement monthly marketing campaigns aligned with the annual marketing calendar.

• Plan and execute strategic events and campaigns to enhance category growth.

Channels

• Oversee and optimise key marketing channels, including social media, performance marketing, website, infl uencer marketing and WhatsApp + always-on marketing. Have a view of affi liate and BTL marketing too.

• Develop and execute initiatives to retain and reactivate existing customers across our key marketing channels.

• Manage the customer and CRM funnel on digital platforms.

• Contribute to the development and execution of below-the-line (BTL) campaigns.

• Work closely with our Digital Marketing team to understand campaign performance using relevant metrics and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.

Partners and stakeholders

• Drive franchise partner alignment — bring partners along on the marketing plan, address their local needs, and ensure store-level execution is consistent with the brand and the calendar.

• Work closely with our salon brand partners to further foster category growth.

• Partner with the team to ensure monthly marketing processes are followed on time and without slippage.

• Work closely with business, ops, retail, call centre, store managers and strategy teams to ensure effective marketing execution on the ground.

• Work closely with salon leadership and share timely, clear updates on plans, performance and issues.

Customer

• Keep a close view on CSAT and customer feedback, and use it to shape marketing plans.

• Speak to customers directly and regularly — you should have a fi rst-hand sense of who we serve and what they want.

Craft

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all marketing materials are on-brand.

• Proactively seek opportunities to improve marketing strategies and processes, staying up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Good to have

• Deep understanding of the beauty industry and its trends, and a clear point of view on how to leverage these insights to drive growth.

• Point of view on copy, creative and campaigns.

• Experience working with franchise or multi-store retail networks.
