The Data Marketing team sits at the core of customer engagement, blending marketing expertise with data-driven precision. We design and manage automated, multi-step journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, segmenting audiences by region, industry, and behaviour to deliver highly targeted campaigns. Our team builds and maintains GDPR-compliant marketing forms, creates deduplicated campaign lists, and develops triggered sends and onboarding flows that drive engagement. We leverage advanced SQL and Salesforce Sales Cloud to streamline workflows, ensure data accuracy, and automate reporting. By combining automation with actionable insights, we continuously optimise audience targeting, campaign performance, and customer experiences.

About The Team
The Data Marketing team has evolved significantly in the past year, moving from reactive support to becoming a strategic enabler across the business. We are working closely with stakeholders across Membership, Events, Marketing, and Sales. Under the Data Marketing Managers leadership, the focus has been on building scalable solutions, automating manual processes, and using data to drive more targeted and impactful marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team where their ideas and initiative can directly shape how we work and deliver value.
About The Role
This role plays a vital part in enabling targeted marketing and sales activity through the creation and management of clean, GDPR-compliant data.
- Build and manage automated, multi-step journeys (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL).
- Segment audiences by region, industry, and behaviour without manual workarounds.
- Create and maintain marketing forms (Form Assembly), ensuring accurate data capture and GDPR compliance.
- Build targeted, deduplicated email lists for campaigns, lead generation, cross-sell, upsell, and abandoned cart/registration activities.
- Develop triggered sends and onboarding flows to improve engagement and lead nurturing.
- Write advanced SQL queries for segmentation, A/B testing, deduplication, and performance tracking.
- Automate campaign reporting (opens, clicks, conversions, regional splits).
- Maintain and audit data extensions to ensure clean, reliable segmentation.
- Ensure GDPR compliance by managing opt-outs, tagging data for monitoring, and applying best practices.
- Share insights and recommendations to optimise targeting and campaign results.
About You
You are a hands-on data professional with marketing experience. You have deep experience of business-as-usual data requests including data extensions and forms. You may also have some experience of lead generation reporting, subscriber analysis, reporting automation, upselling and cross-selling activities.You have very strong attention to detail and a process-driven approach and passionate about automation. You can demonstrate combining problem solving and multi-tasking skills with the ability to understand, translate and deliver upon marketing data-related requirements requests.You have a track record working with customer and marketing data (ideally in the Salesforce environment) and your technical skills include Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder), SQL, Excel.
