As a Credit Risk - Senior Associate at PwC, your role involves working as part of the leadership team to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will be responsible for confirming adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating risks for clients. Your focus will be on providing guidance on compliance strategies and helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize relevant experience/education in financial derivative/instrument valuation and banking/treasury risk management or derivative valuation advisory - Develop financial models using programming skills in Python, Matlab, Visual Basic, etc. - Model interest rate, FX, equity, commodity, credit, or counterparty credit risk - Work with debt instruments (public/private credit) and Value at Risk (VAR) - Utilize xVA (credit/debt/funding value adjustment) - Demonstrate strong communication skills through writing proposals, reports, presentations, etc. - Interact effectively in a professional, team-oriented, client service environment and mentor team members towards developmental objectives - Commit to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or a similar quantitative discipline - Experience in creating financial models and risk management - Familiarity with financial modeling tools and methodologies - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems - Ability to interpret data to inform insights and recommendations - Uphold professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements At PwC, the focus in risk and compliance is on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients, providing advice and solutions.
