Marchandiser

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product selection, inventory control, and visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Management:
• Collaborate with design and production teams to develop product lines that align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Analyze sales data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Merchandising Strategy:
• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales.
• Create visually appealing displays that align with brand standards and seasonal themes.
• Supplier Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Sales Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on sales trends, inventory status, and merchandising effectiveness.
• Customer Engagement:
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote products through campaigns and events.
• Gather customer feedback to inform future product development and merchandising strategies.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with sales staff to ensure they are well-informed about product features, benefits, and promotions.
• Provide training and support to junior merchandising staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 2+ Year experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the garment industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
