Manuscript Submission Expert (Publication Support)

As a Manuscript Submission Expert in the Publication Support department, you will be part of a team of Research Publication Support experts collaborating with researchers worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to submit manuscripts to renowned journals globally while ensuring alignment with journal guidelines. Your day-to-day tasks will involve client servicing, project management, and developmental activities to facilitate a smooth process. This role is challenging and ideal for individuals interested in continuous learning and self-development. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the scope of research in the manuscript and collaborate with internal teams to meet journal expectations. - Create a client profile on behalf of the client if not already done by them on the journal. - Address questions required by the journal on behalf of the client. - Prepare a checklist of questions needed by the journal and send it to the client for responses. - Prepare a Merged PDF for client confirmation before final submission. - Communicate with journals to check/rectify details on the client's behalf. - Monitor submission status monthly and update records. - Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure a consistent client message. - Respond to client inquiries or concerns promptly, informatively, and professionally. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science & Arts (Physical Sciences/Engineering/Social Science). Professional/Personal Attributes & Technical Skills: - Minimum 1 year of experience in the publishing industry, with familiarity in dealing with journals. - Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. - Effective time management, project management, and attention to detail. - Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. - Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques. - Comfortable working independently and collaboratively. - Openness to learning new technologies and skills.
