Manufacturing Technician

Your tasks will include utilizing chemical, electrochemical, and mechanical processes to prepare customer-supplied products for diamond adhesion. You will operate CVD diamond coating equipment to coat a variety of products and manage ancillary equipment for post-processing the diamond-coated products. Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work area according to lab standards is vital. Performing total preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions, and providing improvement recommendations for safety and performance enhancement of process equipment and manufacturing systems are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing products to enhance the inspection process and reduce in-house scrap, meeting or exceeding customer requirements. To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED, along with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and basic problem-solving skills are essential. Ideally, you will possess 3-5 years of experience in a high-technology chemical or coating process manufacturing environment, with knowledge of thin film coatings and/or CVD/PVD processes being advantageous. Previous exposure to a cleanroom environment is a plus. Basic knowledge of safety, health, and environmental practices, experience in adhering to quality control procedures, and meeting production standards are required. Good written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in software programs, a strong quality orientation, and the ability to work multiple shifts are necessary for this role.
