Manual Testing Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer, your role will involve developing test cases and suites for Web and Mobile apps (android & iOS) focusing on manual testing. You will design and create test scripts addressing various areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability to ensure smooth implementation. Your experience with different types of testing including API Testing, Database Testing, White Box Testing, and Black Box Testing will be valuable in this role. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed test reports and collaborating with the development and delivery teams to ensure high-quality software shipment every time. You will be expected to identify, analyze, and document problems with program functions, output, online screens, or content. Additionally, you will play a key role in planning test schedules/strategies in alignment with project scope and delivery dates. Participating in product design reviews to offer insights on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems will be part of your routine tasks. Moreover, your understanding and awareness of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills will be essential for the role. Your ability to deliver quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment will be crucial. You will also be responsible for testing UI components and verifying UI design. Analyzing and troubleshooting issues with software and environment will be an integral part of your responsibilities as well. Desired qualifications include 1-2 years of experience in testing Android & iOS apps, proficiency in logical reasoning, aptitude, and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with various software testing and development methodologies. Knowledge of automation testing using tools like Selenium or Appium is preferred. Strong communication skills are required as you will interact with native English speakers. In this full-time, permanent position, you will follow a Monday to Friday morning shift schedule. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, along with at least 1 year of experience in manual testing and API Testing. Proficiency in English is also preferred.
