Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in functional, manual, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the banking domain and hands-on experience with the Robot Framework. This role demands excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to test case design and execution.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for functional and automation testing.
• Perform manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong proficiency in functional and manual testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation.
• Solid understanding of the banking domain and related applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design effective and efficient test cases.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

• Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration and reporting.

• ISTQB or Equivalent Certification – Formal testing certification.
• CI/CD Integration – Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Version Control Systems – Experience with tools like Git.
• Agile/Scrum Methodologies – Exposure to Agile development environments.
• Test Management Tools – Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Scripting Knowledge – Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) to enhance automation capabilities.
