Manual Tester (Window application)

As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for re-testing fixes for defects and maintaining up-to-date test cases following requirement changes. You will collaborate with relevant team members to prepare and execute tests, manage test data, and utilize testing tools effectively. Your role will involve planning and coordinating testing cycles, including functional-level system tests and business scenario-based testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage while minimizing redundancy. You will play a key role in issue resolution by providing initial triage for issue disposition. In addition, you will be involved in preparing test scenarios, test cases for module, integration, and system testing, as well as executing test cases, tracking defects, and analyzing specifications. Participation in daily scrums and features planning discussions will be part of your routine. You should possess strong QA and Testing Management skills within an investment bank environment, along with the ability to engage with senior IT management effectively. A deep understanding of the software testing lifecycle and a track record of successful testing projects are essential. Your responsibilities will include executing test scripts, providing daily progress reports on testing activities and identified defects. You should demonstrate an organized approach to maintaining documentation and databases, as well as the ability to interpret requirements and develop test cases accordingly.,
