Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze user stories, requirements, and technical documentation to create effective test cases.

· Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test suites for web/mobile/desktop applications.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and smoke testing.

· Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.

· Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing and verification.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the scope, priorities, and timelines of releases.

· Prepare detailed test reports and contribute to test coverage metrics.

· Provide feedback for continuous improvement in testing practices and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.

· Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

· Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.

· Familiar with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira).

· Hands-on exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger is a plus.

· Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.

· Understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing for web applications.

· Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
