Manual Tester

Role : Manual Tester Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend testing for mobile and web applications . The ideal candidate will also be proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Youll play a key role in ensuring high-quality product releases through meticulous testing and defect identification. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design and execute test plans. Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile applications across various browsers and devices. Conduct frontend testing to validate UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and usability. Conduct backend testing including API validation and database verification. Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and business logic. Log, track, and manage bugs using tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar . Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Perform regression , smoke , sanity , and ad-hoc testing as required. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Contribute to test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2–5 years of proven experience in manual testing of both web and mobile applications . Strong knowledge of frontend testing principles (cross-browser, UI/UX, responsive design). Hands-on experience with backend testing , including database validations and API testing. Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries for data validation. Familiarity with REST APIs and testing tools such as Postman (preferred). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
