Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software manually to identify bugs, ensure product quality, and verify functionality against requirements. This role involves writing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and working closely with developers and product managers. Key Responsibilities: Understand and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements. Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. Execute test cases manually for web, mobile, or desktop applications. Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc. Collaborate with development and product teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes. Perform regression testing during development cycles. Ensure the final product meets quality standards and user expectations. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (if applicable). Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 13 years of experience in manual software testing. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and test summary reports. Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
