Manual Tester

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Designing & preparing test scripts for system functional testing, regression testing and UAT 
• Ensuring that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritized to reflect business or technical priorities, and are approved by appropriate stakeholders
• Attending workshops comprising business and or technical representatives to cover test activities such as requirement verification and prioritization, test scenario identification
• Creating allocated test scripts, monitor test execution and ensuring clear and documented feedback relating to success or failure of functional/regression testing with the development team
• Co-ordinating and completing the re-testing of defects and issues following development fixes
• Preparing and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts & activity schedules
• Preparing and maintaining test plans
• Providing feedback to the relevant domains
• Providing feedback and questions to the Business Analysts and Project Managers
• Scheduling testing and organizing with Domain leads
• Organizing and running User Acceptance testing
• Input into RAID log
• Liaising with end users and customers in relation to testing activities
• Planning and working flexibly to deadlines and unexpected priority changes
• Supporting other test team members and associated IT and Business resources as appropriate, reference the implementation of testing related activities.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrable experience in the full project, testing and development life cycle from gathering requirements through to implementation.
• Attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances and recommend improvements;
• Evidence of strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of engaging and managing multiple stakeholders;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; 
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills. 
• A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment.
• QA qualification from leading organization
• Competent in using G-suite and appropriate testing tools and applications.
