As a Manual Tester at Gofreelabs, you will utilize your 1 year of experience in testing web and mobile applications to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include analyzing software requirements, designing detailed test cases, reporting bugs effectively, collaborating with the development team, and conducting various types of testing such as UI/UX validation and cross-browser testing. Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly understand and analyze software requirements and specifications. - Develop and execute detailed manual test cases for functional and regression testing. - Clearly report bugs using tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Collaborate closely with the development team to troubleshoot and reproduce issues. - Conduct UI/UX validation, cross-browser, and cross-device testing. - Validate bug fixes and ensure the release meets quality standards. - Prepare comprehensive test summary and defect reports for each test cycle. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. - Ability to create and execute clear and concise test cases and test scenarios. - Familiarity with testing types like functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, etc. - Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and basic API validation with Postman. - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. Good to Have: - Exposure to basic API testing. - Knowledge of automation fundamentals. - ISTQB certification (optional but advantageous).
