Job Title: Associate QA Engineer (Manual)

Experience Level: 1 Year Location: Onsite

Role Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. You

will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products

through rigorous functional, regression, and usability testing. With one year of

experience under your belt, you should be comfortable navigating the STLC and

documenting defects with high precision.

Key Responsibilities

● Test Execution: Execute manual test cases (Functional, Sanity, Regression,

and UI) across web and mobile platforms.

● Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test

Scenarios, and detailed Test Cases based on Requirement Traceability

Matrices (RTM).

● Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira or

Azure DevOps. Provide clear "steps to reproduce" and visual evidence

(screenshots/logs).

● Collaboration: Work closely with Developers to clarify requirements and

verify bug fixes.

● Reporting: Participate in daily stand-ups and provide status updates on

testing progress and "blockers."

● User Perspective: Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases that

scripted testing might miss.

Database Basic SQL knowledge to verify data integrity (e.g., SELECT, JOIN

queries).

Platforms Experience testing on multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)

and mobile OS (iOS/Android).

Soft Skills

● Analytical Mindset: Ability to think like an end-user and break things

intentionally.

● Communication: Clear written and verbal skills for documenting complex

technical issues.

● Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced release cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

● ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.

● Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to help identify UI bugs.

● Exposure to "Mobile First" testing environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
