Summary of the profile: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Engineer QA to join our growing Quality Assurance team at Resulticks. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality digital marketing solutions. As a QA Engineer, you will focus on manual and from requirement analysis through post-deployment validation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate functionality, performance, and usability across various platforms. What youll do here: Analyze and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and system architecture to create detailed manual test scenarios and test cases. Execute end-to-end manual testing across web, mobile, and API platforms to ensure functional accuracy and product stability. Conduct exploratory testing, UI/UX validation, cross-browser checks, and device compatibility testing. Log, track, and manage software defects using standard defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and design discussions to ensure complete test coverage. Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test results, and traceability matrices. Support regression, smoke, and sanity testing cycles during release validations. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to identify gaps and improve quality. Contribute to the development of automated test scripts (as needed) using tools such as Selenium. Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices throughout the SDLC. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in manual testing methodologies, test management tools, and process optimizations. What you will need to thrive: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 25 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in web-based or SaaS applications. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (Mandatory). Experience in writing detailed and reusable test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Proficiency with test management tools such as Zephyr, TestLink, HP ALM, or similar platforms. Experience in defect management using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Postman/RestAssured is a plus. Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java or Python is advantageous.
