Job Description

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker who is self-motivated and driven to own issues and see them through to resolution.He/She/Theywill have a strong understanding of web and mobile application functionality and be able to quickly learn applications to create comprehensive and thoughtful test scenarios. The candidate should be excited about developing, documenting, and executing tests to ensure the delivery of a quality business application software product.

Experience in quality engineering / software testing of web and mobile applications
Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies
Experience with automation testing preferred, particularly using Cypress, Postman, ReadyAPI, and Swagger
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
A critical thinker that seeks new ideas, and has strong problem-solving skills
The ability to rapidly triage technical issues
Strong ownership mentality
Ability to understand/translate business needs into appropriate testing of software solutions
Ability to decompose internal and customer requirements into detailed test cases for functional and regression test execution
Ability to provide occasional after-hours test and/or deployment support
Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
