Job Overview

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester with expertise in embedded systems and IoT testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating device hardware, firmware, wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), API interactions, and mobile applications to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for embedded devices and IoT applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing on hardware and firmware.
• Validate wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Conduct API testing to ensure seamless communication between embedded devices and cloud platforms.
• Perform manual testing on iOS and Android mobile applications integrated with IoT devices.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, and other test management tools.
• Collaborate with development, hardware, and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in manual testing for embedded systems, IoT, or consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware, firmware validation, and system-level testing.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth testing for connected devices.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence).
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android) for IoT devices.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and cloud-based testing environments.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
