Manual QA Engineer

Youll be joining our Manual QA team managing the verification and validation for our entire product stack. You will work in a challenging, consumer-facing problem space, where you can make an immediate impact. Towards this, we are looking for multifaceted, multi-skilled automation experts who can help build out and enhance our platform while adopting many of these technologies. Manual QA EngineerResponsibilities: Be a contributing member of the QA group, assisting in the individual development of each analyst to strengthen the group. Participate in training opportunities to extend product knowledge. Review requirements for assigned work, identifying gaps, conflicts, and other issues. Perform analysis to determine what requires testing and how it can be tested effectively. Create and manage all test assets required for a particular project. Assist the team in refining QA processes and test assets. Perform test execution for a particular project. Document test results for a particular project by documenting software defects, communicating with the team regarding test defects, and maintaining the tests during the test cycle. Assist the QA team in compiling test results to support release recommendations for a particular project. Working in close collaboration with multi-functional teams Function within a team and be a self-directed individual contributor.Requirements & Qualifications: Writing solid tests Documenting bugs Analyzing requirements and functionality to identify gaps and bugs. Using Jira, Jenkins, or similar issue management software Using test management software Writing complex SQL queries for Postgres database; Good expertise in SQL queries Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master / Bachelor level); Experience 7+ years Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST). Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
