Roles & Responsibilities – Manual Jewellery Designer

Design & Creativity

• Create hand-sketched jewellery designs using pencils, markers, and shading techniques.
• Develop unique concepts based on market trends, client preferences, and brand guidelines.
• Visualize complete pieces (rings, necklaces, earrings, bangles) with accurate proportion, detailing, and aesthetics.

Technical Detailing

• Prepare detailed technical sketches highlighting dimensions, stone placements, settings, and metal specifications.
• Ensure all designs are production-ready and aligned with manufacturing feasibility.
• Work closely with CAD designers and craftsmen to translate manual drawings into final products.

Trend & Market Research

• Stay updated with current jewellery trends, materials, and global design styles.
• Create mood boards, theme boards, and concept sheets for new collections.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with product development, CAD, and merchandising teams for smooth workflow.
• Provide input on material selection, finishing, and design modifications during sampling.
• Assist in creating collection presentations for internal teams and clients.

Quality & Accuracy

• Maintain high precision in designs with attention to symmetry, stone clarity, and metal detailing.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from production or clients.

Documentation & Collection Planning

• Maintain a library of sketches, concepts, and finalized designs.
• Contribute to seasonal collection planning with fresh ideas and design suggestions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
