Job Description

Position:

Roles and Responsibilities (Typical for this profile)

Automation Test Design & Execution

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using
Selenium or Playwright
.
Ensure automation coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Test Framework Development

Design and maintain robust, reusable automation frameworks.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements.
Report defects clearly, track bug fixes, and validate resolved issues.

Continuous Improvement

Identify bottlenecks in automation processes and propose improvements.
Keep up-to-date with latest automation tools and best practices.

Documentation

Prepare test plans, test cases, and automation strategy documents.
Maintain clear logs of test execution and results.

Mentoring & Leadership (Optional for Senior Roles)

Guide junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
Participate in code reviews for test scripts.
