Manager/Senior Technical Manager - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Role Overview: You will be joining TSTS as a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager specializing in AI/ML in Bengaluru. As an individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions to enhance signalling and transportation systems. Your extensive experience of 12-15 years will be utilized to build robust ML capabilities from ideation to production deployment and maintenance. A strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, algorithms, and various ML techniques is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine learning systems for solving complex problems in transportation and signalling. - Build cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities by leveraging techniques from large language models and computer vision models relevant to transportation systems. - Develop end-to-end ML pipelines for data ingestion, processing, model training, validation, deployment, and serving at scale. - Write efficient and maintainable code primarily in Python, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance. - Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms to inform model selection, development, and analysis. - Utilize expertise in various ML libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and visualization libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn. - Leverage industry best practices, tools, and frameworks for MLOps to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient deployment of ML models. - Evaluate and integrate new technologies and approaches to enhance the team's ability to build impactful AI/ML products. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful AI/ML solutions. - Troubleshoot and optimize existing ML models and pipelines for performance, accuracy, and efficiency. - Document technical designs, methodologies, and results comprehensively. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members as a senior individual contributor. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in software development with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. - Deep expertise in AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques. - Proficiency in Python programming language. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure for deploying AI/ML solutions. - Strong experience with Python ML libraries like Scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy. - Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data manipulation, and querying. - Ability to design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines. - Strong understanding of MLOps principles and practices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
