Managerial Level - Process Design

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Design:

• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other design documents for municipal, desalination, and RO-ready plants.
• Lead the design and engineering of water treatment processes, focusing on both preliminary (basic) and detailed engineering phases.
• Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs for larger-scale plants.

• Detailed & Basic Engineering Packages:

• Prepare and review detailed engineering and basic engineering packages for water and wastewater treatment plants (STPs, SWDs, Desalination, RO).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to integrate all aspects of the project.

• Cost Estimation & BOQ Generation:

• Perform cost estimations and generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for large treatment plant projects, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance.
• Ensure that project designs adhere to budget constraints and timelines while maintaining quality standards.

• Project Management & Execution:

• Take responsibility for handling water treatment plants
• Oversee the successful execution of municipal, desalination, and reverse osmosis plants, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage SWD (Sewerage Water Disposal) systems and other related water and wastewater treatment systems.

• Technical Analysis & Optimization:

• Conduct process simulation, analysis, and optimization of new and existing water treatment processes.
• Address design challenges and propose innovative solutions for enhancing plant capacity and operational efficiency.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental safety guidelines.
